To remove Log Off Button:
1. Click Start Button.
2. Click Run.
3. Type gpedit.msc and click OK.
4. Under User Configuration, go to Administrative Templates.
5. Expand Administrative Templates by clicking the + sign.
6. Go to Start Menu and Taskbar.
7. Double click Remove Logoff on the Start Menu.
8. Click Enabled, Apply and OK.

If you want to log off, go to Start Menu. Click Run... and type logoff in Run dialog then click OK.

Note: For a more Windows 7 look, you may install TransMenu, TransBar, TrueTransparency, VisualTasktips, Windows Sidebar, Aero Shake, Aero Snap, Aero Peek, Taskbar Shuffle, WTrans, Show Desktop, Styler Toolbar, etc.

To replace explorer.exe in your Windows directory, use Replacer. Another method: Extract explorer.exe in a temporary folder (e.g. C:\Temp). Press Ctrl Alt Del, under Processes Tab, locate explorer.exe. Right click explorer.exe, click End Process. Click File on the Menu Bar then click New Task (Run...). Browse explorer.exe in C:\Temp and Open. When the new explorer.exe opens, copy explorer.exe from C:\Temp to your Windows directory (e.g. C:\WINDOWS). Press Ctrl Alt Del and end process explorer.exe. Click File and Run the new explorer.exe located in your Windows directory. That's all!
